suppose to update yesterday...but i was too tired and did not have the correct mood to blog..yesterday was my 1st day of ITP..shall update some family thingy 1st..
within this 3 days, including sunday, everyone seem out of the house. for the past 2 days i have been eating dinner at home alone, while the rest are having it out. it give me the feeling of what i experience when i was in primary sch, secondary school. the lonely kind of feeling. Dinner did not seem as great as it should be. they were never back till 10plus to 11plus. thomas is having his attachment too, over at some where near home. suddenly, this home doesn't feel homely anymore.
I am attach to Bentoli Agrinutritions, a very cool company. I almost got lost on my way there but manage to find my way. The company is small but the people are great. The very 1st person i know is Standley, he is a very practical cum reality person. Graduated from SP DCP 10 years ago??? One of the head people, and also my attach supervisor, i guess.
Yesterday, was plain reading of manuals, and slacking, he did not have much things for me to do. The lab was closed yesterday as they were spraying dunno what. So i spend my time in the conference room. HE gave me an important job yesterday. He brought a computer out, switch it on, and open a software, which is command and conquer = red alert, and as me play. Slacker! that was cos boss is not around, boss will only be around on the 22nd. He tell me say i will be seeing 2 different situations. Hmmmm...so i wait to see. HE drives, so he fetch me to marsiling MRT station. he is full of jokes, and craps too.
My colleagues:
~auntie - cleaning auntie
~ kuan - in charge of sales, import, export
~ violet - admin officer, accounting, HR
~ philip - marketing, creativity
~ 3 china guys - store house packers
Day 2 which is today, i was given jobs from morning to afternoon, there will be ISO 9001 auditing on Thursday, so i was suppose to handle the documents well. I photocopied, file them in, and stamp them all up. From that, stanley appointed me as the QC manager, and the whole laboratory is mine from tomorrow onwards, but there is a price to pay. I am suppose to read up the ISO 9001 manual! DEADLY! since when i was to be doing all the business side thingy, having to know NCR - non conformity record, GPR, SPR, VCR etc...so many to remember! haha...with that i am also to read up my laboratory manual which is a ring file! that is cos there is no lab technician and i am to depend on myself. Tomorrow there will be sample testing, and i only have 500g, 1 test needs 360g, which means i cannot be wrong! 1 chance only! OMG! I have to handle the admin side, and also the laboratory side! Hard work, but at least time pass faster, and i have more things to write about. As there is HPLC, which i duno how to operate, but he say he will get my shi jie (graduate from SP biotech) to come in and teach, from there i will be an expert in it le. Haha...hopefully i learn a lot of things!
Hear from stanley, my boss, our boos is an Indian and he is strict about language, so looks like i have to brush up my language before he comes back on the 22 Sept. So currently now, the company has NO GONVENMENT (quoted from stanley) Yupz, indeed no government, stanley came in slippers yesterday, and philip came in shorts and crocs today! haha...there was music going on in the office too...haha...
they are indeed a bunch of fun loving people, but also serious in their work. So lets learn from stanley, he gave me 3 pointers to learn what to do, to get an "A"
1) Don't do stupid Mistake in the LAB (like not being able to read the titration)
2) Punctuality
3) You can do ANYTHING, But don't get CAUGHT!(esp by the boss!)
He is quite flexible, and i enjoy being under him. Hopefully i am enjoying reading my manuals. In the meantime, are you guys enjoying holidays?
