today i had ice creaming..

was totally knock out by the medicine yesterday...slept quite good other than the diarroehea i had in trans mode...haha...er...the med was kinda of strong..including the morning one...cos it almost knock me out in class...wahaha..but i still listen in class...i had breakfast and lunch, but was kind of stoning during lunch...was knock out in the library...the gastric med was to be sucked or chewed...it take quite a long time to sucked, and it doesnt taste great...

after that had ice creaming with someone at swensen...yum yumm....den receive call from mummy ask me go home cook dinner, so went home and cook...so now here blogging, upload the pic of ice creams, and going to do work le...=D

yesterday was itchy-ly hellish for me...think got to do with the crab eaten on sunday nite..having all the itch in my body...it was kind of unbearable..causing a lot of dots...thanks to someone who did a great job in hoaw-ing me to sleep...and also being my alarm clock...i was late for biostats class...well today teach flare temper le...all started as someone ask a qn, er..that qn she ans before, teach the ans alot of times before. But it is not the someone's fault, and wont blame this person. SHe flare her temper, mainly because, all of us uses the comp surfing other things, dun think she is blind, she is not...she sees it, but just close one eye. Guess today was her limit to it...she just bomb and walk out of class...that crash my day.

when to plant science, see our plants...er...today last day for the plants to live, so we killed all of them..we are the murderer of plants...after that it was a bit weid for me, but i settled down at fc5 to do up stuff...and thanks to another someone, for your choco, i was quite surprise! it perk up my day! thanks thanks...was going to have pizza for lunch, but it ended up stoning there. was there till close to 3pm, meet up with alcina, and she brought a whole tin of lollipop for me..thansk jie jie..gave her a cute lollipop too...hope she likes it...=D the itch came back..so decided to go see doctor despite being scare. the wait was very long, at last it was my turn...settled everything and headed back home...the doc gave me 2 days mc, but not much use to me...that is all for today...

yesterday i was eating books...haha...cos today got test..overall the test, ok..not tat bad...but me stomach duno why, not in good mood...but still got eat breakfast..and dinner...grandma come over, but i was busying studying, so never entertain her much, other than eat dinner and eat crab with her..today i had morning calls, woke up to study more, den went to school for breakfast. Had a proper breakfast, den chat with jie jie until pris came. but today duno why eat a lot...i had my 2nd breakfast in class some-more...had a test, den pei mummy pris eat lunch...den go check results, den had biostats...haha...kun cheng started lame-ing withme, lame him back until he cannot take it...haha...pris also cannot stand us liao..haha...after school was kind of weird...

me, teddy and jordan stand on the road, with cars going pass us, we did not realise until serene and dila called for us...hahaha...so big shot, stand on the road. after that go westmall buy bread and tea, plus lollipops..and sushi!!! haha...home sweet home...

woot....finally finish writing the saving gaia review. Indeed tiring...Yesterday was Friday...nothing interesting too...But tat hong and shang ming has book out!!! have you caught them in botak yet?

Hmmm...i have not...i had normal lessons, but stomach wasnt that fantastic, either i was over starved...but i had breakfast with marcus and chumz...i guess marcus would have found chumz "interesting" haha..i had hotcakes, even though stomach wasnt that great...but if i dun eat breakfast someone will start everything all over again. So eat, just to play safe...honestly but i dont know why these few days no apetite to eat, not craving for anything..that was morning...afternoon went to T11A to see datasheets results for biochem tech, happi happi!!!

haha...den accompanied pris to fc3 to eat her lunch..then realli no apetite, so watch her eat...help someone and gang reserve place somemore...but only someone say thank the rest never say...guess that someone represent can le...had lesson, but teddy seem tired...keep dozing off...poor ting...after that i have break, GEMS-less...but i make use of the time, haha..and also help marcus, abigail, hs, jay with their maths PBL...haha..after that gone for lesson again...the class finish pretty fast.

headed to fc3 to print stuffs, and headed to T11A to submit the stacks of formal reports...after that, make a big round to clubhouse, to put memo...then to astro clubhs find dan dan, not dacai...haha...pass him one of alcina's possession, not becos of anything, but because he will be staying in school till 10pm and alcina will be staying back late too..so shun bian ask him pass to her...chit chat with dacai, and got to the often mentioned guy on dan dan's blog, haohan...met the tortured bear, NAD's brother, poor ting...around that time i felt hungry...craving for sushi, wanted to go buy, but then was kinda of late, moreover mummy called to ask where i was.

SO headed back home. As dinner was not so soon, i did some work, but only to have the gastric juice coming up to my throat, it gave the itchy burning feeling. So i drank vitagen to flush it away, it was kind of a wrong choice though. But there wasnt any sweet stuff in the fridge. Had dinner, pretty simple but i enjoyed it...how i got knock to dreamland i wasnt too sure, but i realise i got a number of miss calls...hehe...

morning, i bath the pups, and miss half of my doraemon...made half boil egg for breakfast for the whole family. Then started work on tata shit (data sheets) yupz..hardwork indeed...i finished...wahaha...i realise sometimes typing too fast is not good, i have been typing DNA as DAN or NDA haha...nothing much happen either...hope tomorrow will be better...kkz...need to get back studying...

This is already the episode 6's review for saving Gaia! Sorry for the very late posting. This week episode’s is titled as grey to green. Honestly, I am not very good with colors, so I do not know how to mixed paints to change grey to green. No worries, today’s review is not going to teach you how to mixed paint. Today there are 3 places which I will bring you traveling too, so are you ready? Get ready, we are traveling on foot to be environmentally friendly, but do not leave your carbon footprints, this entry will bring you to 4 places by the text (tax) road.

Our 1st destination, not very far away from the land you are on, Singapore, it is offshore from Singapore but it belongs to Singapore and it is made by what you throw away in your bin. Look in your bin and try to visualize. Let’s stop all the crapping, here, is Semakau landfill.

As landfill has defined it, it is made up of our rubbish that we throw everyday. So how big is it? It is 63 million m3 capacity and 3.5 square km area. But what exactly is it made up off? It is made up of 54 tons of ashes from our daily incinerations. It is 8km off our main land and it is form by enclosing Pulau Semakau and a small adjacent island (Pulau Sakeng) with a rock bund. The main purpose of having the rock bund around is to prevent toxin from leaking into the sea from land. With one layer of ashes and a 2nd layer of soil it has created into a nature for animals. And gladly thanks to the birds, there are plants growing on it. The birds carry seeds by eating fruits and unknowingly planted them there, so they are great farmers. With that there are plants growing on it, how can it not attract animals to live? As it is near the sea, interesting creatures, coral reefs have come by and start treating the whole new place as their habitat. So this is like a man made habitat. On top of that they have planted 40’000 saplings 9 years ago to build the mangrove that they have destroyed, so now they are growing healthy and they have also been a good indicator of water pollutions. But of course with so many projects that went on, there is a price tag to everything, the government paid the price, pumping in US4.81 million dollars. After so many words, let’s look at some great scenery of the place before I bring you our next destination.

Enough time by the beach. Now let me bring you a little country. There is little India in Singapore, but do you know there is a little Singapore in Philippines? It is the city of Marikina. It used to be the dirtiest town, but now it is a clean and green city, that is why it is named as “Little Singapore”. How can a city make a drastic change? It is possible for a country to change, as long as you allow the citizens to see the long term benefits they will work towards that goal. Just like towards a child, by giving it reward if he/she does well will motivate them to work towards their goals. That links me to the next point; everything brings down to the level of children. In school they have a program known as eco saver program. Where on Friday is known as the eco day, so each kid is supposes to bring recyclables to school. With that they will measure the weight of it and give points to the children which are written on the eco passport. The children can then redeem the point for stationary items on an eco-save mobile store. Records show that individual savings or points earned, within a school year period, ranged from 50.00 to 1,800.00points, which helped reduce household expenses on school supplies. It was 1 point for 1 dollar. Do not look down on these kids, with what they have collected they have reduce 238tons of waste from the landfills they have also decreased the cost incurred in the disposal of local solid waste. The 50 truckload-trips a day to the dumpsite went down to an average of 30 trips a day and has also contributed to traffic decongestion, less air pollution, and energy conservation. Moreover, the program has provided junk shops within the city with a regular supply of recyclable materials. There was no financial equity from the participants. They only have to bring recyclables from their households. This made it easier for the city government to elicit enthusiastic participation. But it is the positive impact of the initiative that has encouraged them to help sustain it.

With enough obsessions on children, let me bring you to Seoul South Korea, our 2nd last destination. If you were to go there a few years back you would be choked by the amount of thick haze. The haze is so thick till it has prevents 15% of sun ray from going into Earth. But today it is a clean and green country. The magic behind it is having a supporting government who is willing to pump in millions of money to create a better living area. It is not a easy job, Seoul was ranked as the top 30 in air pollution. With dust and particles in the air, it is not even advisable to wear white shirts, as it will turn grey in no time. But now, the buses run on CNG which is a cleaner and cheaper alternative, the air are more breathable. They had also successfully retained 74% of the land for conservation, and also having a man made forest. It manages to keep the wild life alive. With that they keep tree transplanting active and continuously grow plants in the nursery for transplanting. Here is a picture of the man made forest with wild animals closed up with humans.


Now to our final destination, must have been tiring for your eyes to read till here. Chill chill, taken a toilet break? There is nothing much left, our last destination, Li Jiang, China. A place with 1400 residents, they are the ones who have shown that we need not to have great money to go green. What they had was a solar powered water heater, gas stove that runs by biogas from animals waste. They started not long ago in year 2005. they used to use firewood to operate their stove, but now they uses animal waste, with that they have decrease the firewood usage from 4000kg to 1500kg. they people thee never thought of going green, as to them it is expensive, but after being expose to it, they realize if they were to cut down lesser trees on top of the mountain, it will prevent soil erosion which had crash some of their houses. So this is more of a being practical than being green.

Today was kind of different, as we did not have practials we only had a lesson from 230pm to 330pm. What makes today special is, today is our PTN gathering. We used the BBQ pits at school. Before i go blabbering on wat happen shall start with the morning happenings.

Woken up at 1am, thanks to my morning caller! suppose to settle my report, but duno why, too tired le, so curl back into a ball ball and refused to wake up. My eyes die die also dun want to open even though by brain is working. So ended up poping back to bed, my morning caller called again at 2am, but i tao the calls...wahaha...woke up at around 7plus get changed and started to settle my report. then i was a bit lazy, still manage to gain that pushing force. after that, i headed to school to meet alcina, needed the clubhs for the water dispenser for the gathering. So lets thank ENV for the dispenser! wahaha...waited for her at biz block cos she was going to be alte for lesson. then i went to club house, it is very cleaned!!!!! happy happy, it really did look like clubhs...wahaha...den i started on settling my report again, until my mummy priscilla with daddy aloysius came to fetch me.

had lesson, together with the ITP briefing. Then it was BBQ time. But i duno why a bit stone stone, dull dull one. together with chumz and pris we go steal ice from 7-11 but is they willing to givce us de, so we jsut press for the ice, keep pressing until we shuang haha...we went back and i concentrated to spread the garlic bread, while some BBQ-ed and some help to eat. Er, it wasnt really BBQ more like frying...i wish there was a roti prata then we could have fried one there...wahaha...but the dishes were simple, garlic bread, otah, chicken wings, beef, and many sauages...i had er...er...1 otah and 1 garlic bread...er...haha...my mummy pris and daddy aloy keep trying to feed me, but duno why no mood to eat...and not forgetting teddy who took a sauage by the end which was wrapped with tissue and dangling it up and down in front of me, asking me to bite..of course i did not. haha...soon we ran out of butter and garlic spread. Food was running low too...so they cook chicken without butter. Haha...had fun playing with aloy, pris we were playing massage, den we play chain reaction with teddy and jolene as the victims...wahaha...but teddy make a lot of sexual sounds, so only caused us to laugh until stomache. we also play "giving birth" with my daddy aloy as daddy, mummy pris as mummy, teddy as dr teddy and missy teddy. haha...giving bith to a child is hard, mummy acted it very well...and dr teddy making the pushing effect even convincing...haha...but the fun part is when u go "i want 喝奶" haha... talking about food, i was then reminded by someone i did not eat lunch too, and now also without a proper dinner...

but is not i dun want eat, is there is nothing to eat, at least i ate bread to fill me stomach. will update saving gaia tomorrow, so please patiently wait for the review...haha...

today i only had 1 hour lesson, then we are released le...so me, pris and aloysius pls marcus went to borrow skates.

Had a flower blooming session. Open alot new flowers, and now it is more pain. attempted to teach marcus how to walk, but before i can say anything he landed on his butt le. Taught him the basic of how to walk, den he was on his own with his yellow 宝贝pole. Today i skate with more confidences thus it was smoother but still fall quite a few times. Then don't know why, mood start to go down down down...until dun feellike skating le...instead i fell asleep...the weather thee, plus the breeze make it an ideal place to sleep...took a sort nap, until pris, kay yan and aloysius join us. Learn a new thing today, is call spin stop, kind of give people the zai feeling effect...haha...attempted it a few times fell down once, aloysius and his friend teach me, now can turn but still need supporting team. Will attempt to do it alone the next session.

yesterday receive a good news, but dunno is good news or bad news, now a bit frustrated over it...

i manage to catch saving gaia, but miss a bit of it..will blog it up as soon as i can...

No joke the pao really very big. Dinner was interesting too...went to pasir panjang to eat, with my parents and auntie, my 2 brothers are busy with their FYP. The funny thing about dinner is it was mostly shells, had:

Wahaha...i am well fed...but me training 4 packs, eat so much will be harder to train the 4 packs out...everything in moderation! haha....

My butt still hurt from the flower blooming for skates yesterday, now sit up cannt do on floor, back will pain...have to do somewhere soft...

today another great great day!!! cos i ahve a lot of flowers opening, haha..jkjk...

i started my day very blur-ly almost foget that i was suppose to have hotcakes for breatslow with a friend. At least i last minute remembered, but sorry to keep this friend waiting. We ahd classes that was cancelled. Went to clubhouse from 1 -3pm. Was listening to great lame-ing from xuan, sean and victor.

My funs tarted after class! Woohoo...tried skating in jacket. I had a great supporter team, consisting of 3 people: Aloysius, priscilla and marcus. They supported me on how to walk, after i learn how to walk, they leave me to walk on my own, that is when all my falls came. Now my butt got a few cultivated flowers, perspiration was dripping like a tap was on. But i already learn how to walk, woohoo...happy happy...haha...Must learn how to fall and brake, or i will keep banging into walls, haha...I will consider buying and learning it well! that is after exams then say bahx..gambette for exams!

Alcina jie very nice!!!! she buy me a lot of lollipops!!!! Thanks thanks!!! wahaha...And also someone for your kinder bueno! fun fun!!!

Pris's way for sit up to train the bottom 4 packs, is to lift your leg at 45 degree, den do sit up...Slowly train bahx....not hurry to all trainings in progress.

Hmmm...I almost foget to pst on saving gaia.

Everything Alternative. Monday's theme for saving gaia. So what is it all about. I shall bring you to visualise a fashion show, the famous teletubbe town and the great hot sun.

Let me bring you to Hog Kong, an ideal shopping place with fashions too, that is my main purpose in bringing you there. the designers there are going green. In this october there will be a fashion show call "Eco Chic" there is a mini one held on March over at Jarkata, here is a pic of it:

So what is their main purpose? Main objective? People,especially women are great shoppers n clothes, and of course constantly keep themselves up to fahshon. These designers are trying to bring the "un-fashioned" clothes, with their flick of their fingers, transformed them to something up to fashion. Objective? To bring green on the catwalk.

These designers do it for a purpose, they would like to educate their citizens the important of going green, it seems that Hong Kong does not had a great waste management systems, where "waste" are dump at landfilled, there wont be enough space for rubbish if they keep piling up. Moreover everyday, the place acculmulate 347 tons of waste. Why so much rubbish, especially on clothes? This is patly due to the mentally of people, they have the mindset of clothes are cheap, thus making them disposable just like your plastic spoon and fork. Which is highly un encourage!

www.green2greener.com had created another great idea. They collect stained table cloth from restuarants and make this material into handbags, These handbags are for sales, at their website, and the sales of it will go to WWF.

The moral? We need not scarfice fashion for environmentally friendly. But when we shop, we shop with a conscience. And support organic cotton!!!!!!!

Now lets travel to India, please wear your sun glass, it is hot and humid there. It is a land that is very poor, and there is drought. Woman there walk barefooted just to collect water. A great lady, changes the way that the villagers cook, as firewood, and gas are relatively scarce in that area. they would ahve to walk very far in order to be able to access to these resources, moreover gas tank only able to last them for 10 days...since it is hot why not use the sun? That great lady set up solar panels, collecting solar power. With these solar power it harnass the energy from the sun, reducing the amount of trees being cut down. From there, they make use of these electricity to have a puppet show at night, but not ordinary puppet show, but it is a puppet show that teach being environmentally friendly. These puppets are made from waste paper, and travel around the villagers teaching about being eco friendly. With the solar power, it enable the children to study at night, and encourage family gathering. Isn't all that great?

They had make use to the golf balls collected in the chuck recycling. It serves as a reflexology area, where many of us would go "ee, ar, ouh" haha...pain pain. But it is indeed creative. They had even created fence using sping from mattress, and a toilet build from bamboo, the retuns of nature.

Teletubbie land! In this particular place it is known as a dome village, where the houses look like the ones in teletubbie, the only difference is you cannot enter the house through the top. These houses are indeed handy as:

it uses half as much concrete and steel as traditional buildings.
The curved shape of the dome makes it resistant to wind and storm damage.
During earthquakes, it move with the ground instead of collapsing.
it cannot be damaged by fire, rot, or insects.
The thermal mass of the concrete walls makes it energy-efficient.

How is it constructed:
A circular concrete slab floor is reinforced with steel rebar.
Vertical steel bars are embedded in the outer edge of the foundation to support the dome.
Blower fans inflate an Airform made of PVC coated nylon or polyester fabrics.
The Airform swells to assume the shape of the structure.
A grid of vertical and horizontal rebar surrounds the exterior of the Airform.
2 or 3 inches of concrete is applied over the rebar grid.
After the concrete is dry, the Airform is removed from the inside. The Airform can be re-used.

But this dome cannot be implemented in Singapore as we are a relatively small country, it will consume a lot of land, making it land deficiency to hold the population. Contruction is a great contributor of waste, it had contributed a 40% of the waste generated. Thus we should try to reduce the amount og waste created, REDUCED the usage, REUSE them if possible, and lastly RECYLCED them.

these few days a bit not correct in the brain...since monday...since when was i so determined? haha...it was actually jsut a passing remark, but unknowingly, my body, more like my brain seem to enjoy it.... was saying that i wanted to train fro 4 packs, er...so on monday had been doing 100 sit ups, tues and wednesday 150 sit ups, and today 200 of it..with the last 100 a different style, pris teach me de...and no joke, it is able to train 4 packs in a week..with a short time of 4 days, 2 of it is already out...haha...

today, was a guai day...spend a lot of free time doing work...wahaha...i enjoy OSRM practical, where we saw magic, the colour change from bue to yellow..looks so cool..i have videos on it, but, you wont like the background sound...not some irritating sound, but is the great voices of my classmates...wahaha...after tat i enjoy loading gel, running gel etc, and took a picture of it...lol...

after school, was doing upon more work,i even stay back to domorework...ending the day with a mac flurry....yum yum!!! tat is all for today...

we went to marina square, on the way we pick up abigail...went to marina square...settled down for karl's junior...i never eat though...cos me never withdraw much money...so i go walk walk...then go back join them, den tease tease abigail a bit, i got tease so many times!some more all like "wat the..." haha...headed home to cook cook...today's menu is fish head curry, lotus soup and stir fry cabbage...just finish dinner...

Hmmm..i never update blog yesterday. Early in the morning i spammed call alcina, making her phone vibrate...wahaha... waited for alcina cos she is late...so spammed call her again...Went running/walking/jogging with alcina and marcus in the morning. keep poking alcina to motivate her to run run...but after that we left her to walk as we carry on to run. Not bad, got improvement le...den we had a 50 sit up challenge with alcina as a counter. Wahaha...i completed 50! and someone did not...so he owe me 60 sit ups before he can redeem his lollipop...haha...*so bad* really persipre alot, vent out a lot too...a good way to vent out and destress...

went to class, nothing interesting happen.went to clubhouse, stone stone a bit...then go home. watch saving gaia, human spirit and lastly perfect cut. As i was waiting for the results from my friend. Only manage to receive it at 11pm. Then i was already blur blur le..Pris call me at 12++ i pick up, say hello hello hello, den put down, hmmm...maybe i at trans mode le..den i call her at 2:55am, but never talk...finally woke up at 5am, finish up the report..had my bath and go feed milk to the pups...really really very shagged now...ever since saturday never had proper sleep. now shagged shagged le...met pris in the morning and pass sth to someone.

oh ya, made a shirt for NAD, but haven took a picture of it. take le den will put it in..

yesterday went out aroundearly afternoon and never came home till today early morning.it was a day where me and my family will remember for the rest of our lives. it was my grandfathes death aniversary. One year ago, with a flick of fate's wand, the very next second, that breathe became the last. He no longer speak, what was left was just a cold hard shell.

I was reminincing the whole day, with every tick of the clock, it ignit the every piece of memory on what had happen on that very day. Tears had rolled, which clearly show that my effort of being cold and unfeeling was utterly useless, and it had also shown i am still a human.

We were at telok blangah, having the ritual thingy, the whole place fitted into the whole funeral scene, the one that struck the memory was the big paper house, which was much taller than me and wider, occupying the void deck. In front was pic of my grandmother and grandfather. In my 17years, i witness both their funerals, but my grandmothers one was when i was very young.

We did not do the burning till 1am, i was very tired, already collapsing soon, placing the paper house in a super big cage, together with the incense paper we folded for months. My family kneeled, we stared at the fire, all i saw was red, green and yellow flame. Witnessing all this seems to have place a full stop in my memory, as if he had tell me, it is time to move on from there.

So here is a chunk of words for my grandfather:

but the only thing i knew was,

though then you were a burden,

today was plant science day...not really bahx...but we had 2 hours of plant science, today's time table a bit mess up cos classes cancel here and there, den teacher take over here and there...make me until so blur...haha...but i had fun during plant science...other than eing called upon...haha...

toda we learn about water potenial and it was about about Ψ, is is known as psi, you pronouce it as sai...it has a formula though, known as Ψ = Ψπ + Ψp + Ψm so u pronouce it as sai = sai pie + sai p + sai m, hmmm....our class think dirty..haha...adeline koh was cute too, cos she was thinking what we were thinking too, so she said wat we were thinking...today her lesson wasn indeed very funny and particularly "cold" haha...hmmm....but got pick, cos she ask how to make a flower carving from a chilli, she drew a structure that look like carrot, and said it was chilli, den she called for index number 13, DT/2A/03, i said "shit" actually i duno is me, haha...but i hear is my class, and so near the bottom, my chances of getting it is near...so it was BINGO, i got it...wahaha...at least i got it correct....haha...phew...

after that i went to auditorium as they were having green geius there, i ran a few step down the bridge thingy, and heard a "crack" sound from my ankle, and i stop running, poor ankle...it was slightly pain, but still ok...there was nothing much for me to do...so i went to FC4, suppose to meet alcina and marcus there for ice creaming...marcus arrived 1st, then we waited for alcina, in the end no ice cream, so we settled for ice kachanging...haha...mixed strawberry with mango...haha...had fun eating...

then we went to biz library to look for victor, having an exhibition there...go support support...found edible books...happily borrow them home...nothing much happen there though...but there was victor, alcina, rachel, joyce, marcus, marcus's friend. from there we walked down the hill, we sat at the fc benches watching people playing frisibee...we were thee waiting for dan dan, cos he say he want to put something in clubhouse, which is bears...hmmmm....so me, marcus, marcus's friend and alcina waited for him...victor joined in waiting, then mei hoon and huiru came also cos they waiting for alcina, so we jsut waited for him to come...finally he arrived...took out the bears, and everyone siamed...hmmmm....cos we did not know it was for us, we thought he wanted to put in clubhouse...poor him, running after us, waiting for us to accept his bears...i ran a few steps again towards alcina, and heard another "crack" then i went "sian diao" so walk like a lame person again...accepted dan dan bears, cos he buy for us, den me and alcina accept like very bad...so here say a BIG

yesterday sickness never cured, delayed until today...spoilsport...my handphone time like a bit wrong, so i ended up waking up like 6plus, daddy almost scare me by saying it is 730am, but it was 630am. So help mummy a bit. A long story, many happening last night, but dont wish to say it out. But all i can say is, mummy and daddy damn zai...haha...

so had break-slow, eat until very slow...den it start to pour, so daddy fetch me to school...yippee! but when i reach school, rain stopped le...hmmmm...Meet up with my friend, den go stadium. Not to run,but to walk walk, cos ankle twisted/sprained cannot jog...walk one round den start to rain...but never stopped still continue to walk round round, duno how many rounds we walk le, cos never count, busy chit chatting...wahaha... den when we decided to stopped, the rain also stopped...then, saw a beautiful sight, hmmm...those are clouds:



actually wanted to go gym after that, but whole body wet wet, so just change into dry clothes, and go library read read...read up on social psychology mainly on children and also green chemistry. Then went to FC3, had lunch together with my friend, while waiting for priscilla...

Then we had Lab session! today we play with agarose gel, incubate enzyme for 1 hour.. overall ok, not too bad =D we were release early...after tat dr goh's lesson also canceled, so wanted to go bugis buy tako, but duno why halfway mood change le, so stop at tiong baru and shop at the plaza...nothing interesting to see either...then went to clementi de NTUC, help mummy buy chicken liver for ding dang, headed back home, cos my ankle is being tortured...on way back saw beautiful clouds again:


nth much, just had dinner alone, still running a slight fever...OMG, this year is definitely not a good year for me...

today wasnt a very great day for me. Except for the ice cream part bahx...woke up at 3am, just to do datasheets. Finish it, and fell back to sleep. Woke up at around 6plus, got ready to go school. Nothing much happen, except that bus, that was fully packed, i was meeting pris at the mrt station, irritating. So i took 189 instead in hope that i can change bus quick at clementi station. I ended up changing back to 106 at the Clementi station. -.-'|' i couldn't rush though, is the bus going too slow and the damn traffic jam. Reach the station, and saw someone ahead of me looking familar, i stare for a while trying to get confirmation. Then i realise pris was waiting for me. So i dash across him, but took a glance, then i saw it was him, but never say hi. Went to meet pris, and we went down the escalator, i peered up to look for my friend, then we met, but i still never waved hi. Felt kind of bad.

WE were late for OSRM, teacher was not very happi, the only person there when we step in was camilla....sorry teacher i dun mean to be late, this is my 2nd time, going to school taking 40min! *curses and swearings* haha...my lessons was ok, not too bad...after school, how can i miss ice cream! haha...had great ice cream my favourite flavour, peppermint. yum yum...pass mono in good hands which wsa then transfered to alcina's hands.

Mummy wanted me to go home early, i listen to her, guai guai go home early...but only to find myself lock out of the house. Damn it, no one was home! and i dun carry home keys! I called home but no one answered, walking up and down outside my own house as if i am a thief. Then i twisted my ankle against the road curb, pain! Duno what to do le, So i called mummy, she went =O she rush all the way back just to open the gate and the door for me. Then i was locked in. Trying to heal my ankle, and of course settled lunch with cup noodles. The afternoon went passed with me alone in room...peace!

Mummy called, and 2nd bro came back, we shifted the bench which is damn heavy la...and i paid the price, it had imprinted a nice line on my left hand. I tink eat too much ice cream le, not running a slight fever....damn it...What the hell is wrong with today!

Saving Gaia -- Saving Our Air

Lets take a ride to to Japan.

Hmm...most intial D watcher, will know takashi father's make tofu and sell tofu, also known as beadcurd. This entry got to do with both tofu and cars, but it does not concern takashi, neither initial D.

in the process of making tofu there is this by product known as "okara":

lets talk more about this by product:
The by-product of turning soy beans into soy milk or tofu is the ground up fibrous part of the bean. It is also known as u no hana (卯の花) in Japanese. Okara is a nutritional powerhouse, containing soluble and non-soluble fiber, protein, calcium and other minerals. It's even more nutritious (because of the high fiber content) than soy milk or tofu. But most tofu maker throw the okara away or give it away as feed to farms - most commonly to pig farms in Japan.

What so great? This by product can be used to make biofuel. By combining it with potato, it create bio-ethanol. With the amount of bio ethanol, adopting the E3 where 3% of the bio- ethanol is mixed with petrol, it is sufficient to make 600 000 cars on the go. They are trying to target to move it up to E10 by 2010.It is still on the go for testing. Many drivers are afraid to sue this bio fuel, as they are afraid of wear and tear. Currently now in Japan, there are 50 of this petrol stations, they are aiming to open 100 of it.

Lets talk about fuel used in the world:

Biofuel:
~the 1st generation - 14.4% corn, 12.3% sugarcane, 1.3% grain.
~2nd generation - non edible food, which can be used to feed the cars. but only less than 5% is used.
~It comes from palm oil. 85% (will touch on this below)
~And A great fruit known as Jatopha. (will touch on this below)

1 problem with 1st generation biofuel is,it has indirectly cause a doubling of prize in rice, corn and maize, which are used to produce biofuel.

Let me bring you to India.
Head to india railway.
Which require 1 billion units for the chimneys, 70 000 litres of diesel. It is the 6th largest country consumption for fuel. And they will run out of their fuel soon. So they have to seek alternative. Jatropha, a great fruit, which can grow on wasteland, it is not edible, but The plant yields more than four times as much fuel per hectare as soybean, and more than ten times that of maize (corn). A hectare of jatropha produces 1,892 litres of fuel. In addition, it is self lubricating, there is no sulfur, and it is a ideal energy security for India. For the past months, they have been using it, by mixing it with diesel, in composition of 10% diesel, 90% biofuel. Which has lead to a reduction of 60% - 70% reduction in diesel usage.

But still, such a good source of oil, jatropha is not greatly accepted, in thailand they find growing it is very risky, expensive, and they see no market for these seed as it is inedible. But these seed, are the ideal far sighted option, and potentially reduce the greenhouse gases, they great thing is, one no need to clear land for these plants, they practically live everywhere.

Let me bring you back to japan.

Now lets talk about cars - automobile. As seen above, we feed our cars with stuff that we are unable to consume. But there are great cars that can be charged like how you charged your handphone. It is Toyota Prius, it is a hybrid car that runs on 1.5 gasoline and it is a plugin car. It can run for long, and only emit our 13% Carbon gas. Toyaota are readjusting the prices to make this car affordable. It has carbon balance system to ensure that the carbon emission is not high. And of course, the government is the supervisor of the whole project.

Lastly ou last destination is Jambi, at Indonesia.

This is not about how good going green is. This is talking about the sacrifices that people have been making just for biofuel, in the hands of the cruel government. PLantations that used to grow, durians, fruits are now being taken over by the government forcefully, just to grow oil palm. There was no compensation given to these farmers, as they were unable to prove the certification of ownership of the land, even though their grandparents tombstone are there. These farmers are forced to work in the oil palm plantation as they had a family to feed. Does bio fuel being a great reason for people to be inhuman?

Foods prices rise, land and home are taken away, all for the cause of bio fuel. Is bio fuel worth these sacrifices, or is human just too blind by money.

haha...came in saw a lot of weird weird taggy taggy...hmmm...the egg = 蛋= dan topic a bit getting out of hand...the dan, we referring here does not refer to the dan dan in our club, even though he is a dan in our club. =P okok...stop the bird + egg thingy on my tag board le...haha..

today morning wake up early, cos morning class at 8am, receive 2 smses le...so early...den go mrt station meet pris, before that i go 7-11 shopping..haha...cos nothing to do...bought snickers, which is still in my bag...-.-'|' had biostats, ok bahx...i pay attention in class, a bit distraction from pris computer as hers has youtube video going on, and a magazine given out by duno who..named naked ar...and of course with kinder bueno that i brought from home.

had brunch, took jap food at fc1, kind of dislike their unagi le, cos always alot of one, den still nvm, the bone always prick into tongue or gum. so i gave up eating, den we ate baked potato.

had practical making the protein run, while the protein run, me and pris went into deep sleep..though it was a short 20 to 30 mins sleep, but the quality of sleep was very good...i woke up as i was feeling very cold...wahaha...the funny thing is we never remove our gloves, so we had the chemical on our gloves as we sleep..haha..

had plant science prac...fun fun! cos we dissect plants,and going to grow them...we use the laminar flow hood..i enjoyed cutting the plants up,but no blood squit out de...haha...so class end early today...

stone a bit...den walk to fc3, den realise i need to withdraw money..so go withdraw, on the way met until a friend...but never say hi...went back fc3, waiting for alcina and marcus, we are out for a ice cream outing..marcus came around, den alcina came, chit chatted as we had ice cream waffle...from there, we are on our way home, saw shu ding/ting, he duno my name den ask me for my name...-.-'|' so tell him, den saw the sme friend again, but still never say hi, only shoulder brush across each other..den go home le...just now chat with alcina jie...so now blogging....

=O i yesterday never come update blog. Cos, i was busying with a project, and after that i was chit chatting with alcina jie..wahaha...we chit chatted until very long. until around 12pm, we discuss almost anything under the moon. =D

So i slept pretty late, almost cannot wake up today early for morning run. Woke up at 7plus...rush down to school, meet up with a friend and headed to the stadium. had a few rounds of run,but did not manage to complete the 7th round, cos never eat breakfast, so gastric was kinda of intolerable. Sprint the last lap of round 7th, and walk round 8. Allow myself to cool down. Felt much much better le...This is a lesson to learn, never run without having any food taken before run within 2 hours. Haha..Had a bit of chit chatting session and went to get changed and to class...

In class, was still rather awake during 1st lesson, but started to fight with ZzZ monster in the 2nd lesson. I won though, haha...had lunch with pris and aloy, aloy had a emo chara changed today. hmmm..also duno why...den went for biostats class, was rather sleepy, fighting with zZz Monster again, i won, by flooding with water...haha...had biostats, zZz monster never come disturb me, as i had internet fairy with me...wahaha...after school, me, pris and aloy and another friend went to ice cream eating...=D ice cream! but today no mint, so sad..so had chocolate...duno why become so high,keep laughing,but is silent laughter though...haha...left pris to aloy as she had wushu training...

walk to the mrt station with my friend, then meet alcina pass her the $40 for rachel, den go home le...upon reaching home, saw girl girl, she is her to visit us...haha...happily playing with her and the kids, before leaving the little girl laxy gave me a hug and a kiss...sosweet of her...haha...oh ya, she almost dog napped my mono...and wanted to pup-nap the puppies...haha...but she did not...haha...

today is outing day!

firstly i was out with my brother and mum to have breakfast at tanglin halt, we ate wanton mee..nice nice...^.^ then we go marketing, that means tomorrow no need go le...At that market what was interesting was, they selling baby shark, and parrot fish. Hmmm....Then we went to sheng shiong to buy rice, and got a lot of tibits plus chocolates ^.^ went back home, suppose to go out meet env le, then was given the task to bath the dogs, so bath them up, with them almost making me wet as if i bath with them...luckily i know how to siam-ed..haha...Played with the pups, here is one of them, he looks like a ball ball, very cute de:



So i was late, late to the extend tat rachel has left le, i didn't manage to pass her the $40...but i 有到好过没到! upon reaching the orchard MRT station, i was already super scared, as i duno which exit to exit, called alcina then she told me...on my way up, fear sinks in, as the number of people was massive, turn right based on my instinct, walk and walk feeling like a lost child, indeed almost cried out. Then i was found by alcina and marcus. Phewed, they bring me go find the rest of the eggs, chicks, chickens, and the chickens' ghosts of env:

chicks = year twos -- sean,pei xuan, mei hoon and me,

i realize is a very big group, as usual i never like big group outing, this case was similar. I was well bullied! so was poly! Luckily i never bring mono out. Then that was the 1st meeting of me and hawk, haha...at last i know who is hawk le...er...And nick, who know my name and i dun even know who he is,

i mixed benjamin with shun sheng. But my main purpose of going for the outing is to deliver 馒头 to pei xuan. Her birthday present, so she can 打馒头 since she don't want to 打包..haha...Then we drop, tat hong, benjamin, kenneth, mei hoon, hawk and alcina at the ajisen while the rest go to kinokuniya, which i got lost but no choice but to return to ajisen...As i waited, i went to buy bread, for dinner, as requested by mummy, cos she cook curry today. Waited, and waited and waited for the est to report back, then i realize i got not enough time to go home le, i was to report back home at 6pm! but i was so street idiot, that hawk, kenneth, mei hoon and yi wen send me to the MRT station through the gate, like sending me go aeroplane like that...THen i was scared again, cos not enough time, might be late home...rush...home...i was late by a few minutes, lucky! phewed...On the dot it was dinner time! Enjoyed my dinner, and flush a bottle of yakult down, not forgetting to wash the bottle and of course ended it off with a packet of kinder bueno...

today fun fun!!! haha...Morning dr goh cancelled his lesson, as he told us to sleep more, so we got energy when we go yakult...den we attended mr xu's lesson, who was super kind by nearly telling us the VERY important question. After that, DBT/2A/03 went crazy a bit...haha...playing at the back..haha...Following we had adeline koh's lesson, she was gave back the MST papers, and was looking for her victim, wearing red shirt with yellow poker- dots, i used my jacket to cover my shirt, cos i was wearing red shirt, with a number of poker-dots, but it wasnt yellow! give her forfeited me, to answer 2 questions. Then, we had break, me and pris took lunch at
FC1, den saw sean, i had pasta with "strawberry sauce" cos i mixed the creamy sauce and the tomato sauce, so the lady say it is cann strawberry sauce, but i see here and there, it looks more like thousand island sauce to me...haha...Then we had OSRM, return back our papers, then discuss then rush for GEMS, cos late le...GEMS, sit there listen to wat teacher say den *poof* disappear at 2pm...go to find Dr. Chia deliver goods, he was surrounded with a group of juniors, who are from DBT, and he intro me to them, and intro them to me as "kiasu cows" haha...interesting, and of course i play along with him, poor him, our juniors seem to ahve loud voice, and laughter, he will ahve hearing problems soon...wahaha...

After that i meet,aloy,pris and kah yan, we walk go admin block, waited for bus bus to come, then we are off to yakult! duno why we all very high today,maybe cos wanna go yakult...haha...here are the crazy pictures of me, my classmates, yakults:

I had alot alot of fun in there...our tour guide was super funny, he actually deviated from the yakult thingy and told us alot of interesting things...wahaha...he was chinese educated so he find english hard to learn, but he upgraded himself and learn english and told us the funny stories behind...haha...he is oldbut he speaks as of our age, word like "tok kong, wa lau" all the youngster thingy came out from him, he even told us many jokes not related to yakult, he indeed make the lesson very interesting, but he of course never leave out any important informations he was suppose to tell us, he even make fun of kai jian, poor thing, 2nd time in the day he was called upon by teacher...but it was indeed fun...we went thru the whole process on how yakult was made. The funny thing is, they gave each of us one yakult to drink and zhi hao told me to collect, er...i feel kinda of weird even though i am doing an eco thingy, but i am collect yakult bottles in the yakult factory itself..wahaha...weird werid de...haha...

Bought some yakult back, went to clubhs saw alcina there, gave her one bottle, den wait for dan dan to come,den he also take one, den go astro club find ken give him one also, den go mrt station, meet until shi min and zain gave them one too...haha...sound like satarina giving out yakult..whahaa...overall today is FUN FUN FUN!!!
