let me start this post with environment issues (this was suppose to be blog yesterday but it slipped off my mind)If you have read yesterday's straits times paper (dated: 7/6/2008)you would have realise there are alot of articles on environment, the sections are as of: home section and science section.
There were 2 great pictures, one is featuring the eco boat that looks like a spaceship but suing renewable biodiesel fuel. Recently there was a hike in petrol most of you should know, but there was also a hike in food, affecting the biofuel market too. This boat might be environmentally friendly, but how about towards the human society? would it be abe to cope towards the food shortage situation to feed the biofuel industry?
Next picture was the swamps cleaning. Send by SP in cooperation of NParks board in cleaning the sungei buloh wetland, for commearation of wolrd environmental day. Good good! and it also state that SP students will be going there and Pulau Ubin to clean the area monthly! Gambette SP!
Moving on to the forum, there was a complain of an advertisement which was showing a boy doll with oil and blood dripping down its head, followed by chainsaw cuts on its head. Not too sure whether did you catch the advertisement but it was indeed too gory for kids to view it. At the same time i would agree to the concept behind this advertisement, showing that our children will suffer. Nowadays advertisement are hard to do, as parents will complain. Hmmm, another very cool advertisement that was aired previously was the plaster on trees, bandages on plants showing they can heal the way we human does was pretty cool!
Forum there was another 2 articles, 1 written by Mr George Jacobs, President of vegetarian society, if you had attended G-POP you might have met him before at the booth. The article titled is: 70% of Grain in US goes to the meat industry. Which is to feed the animals for rearing.
There are also 2 articles in money section with regard to the environment too.
In science section there are 2 articles, one occupy one whole page titled; 1 way ticket to hell. The other is the world must kick the carbon habit.
If you are interested, do go and flip into the various section and take a look. Er, I will be donating these articles to SP Environment club. Do go over and read it too. It is interesting!

today is sunday! but it was cloudy and cooling too. Went shopping with my mum and aunt. The funny thing is, we went all the way there to takashimaya to shop at their cold storage. Mummy is very cute, she was the one who say wanted to go there walk walk as she has hardly walk there (same as me) but instead of walking the shops, we went to the cold storage to shop. (speechless) but the godd news is we went there and buy sushi, plus we can never miss takoyaki. We bought 2 boxes of takoyaki, one for me and the other for my eldest brother, my 2nd bother we got him packs of sushi. But the next thing i knew was when i reach my grandmother house: my eldest brother finish the 2 boxes of takoyaki, without even leaving me 1 tako ball. (sad) but i went stealing my 2nd brother's sushi and his omelette noodles =P
Had dinner at chervon. We called it a day! Tomorrow is monday again! =D
