I feel like I have known you forever
Although I only met you sometime this past year
But our friendship will remain forever
No matter what crosses our paths and hearts

The best thing that happened to me
Is finding a forever friend like you
You're there to listen, help, and talk to
And best of all, I know I can confide in you

Some say the best love is one sprung from friendship
But I feel we shouldn't try
Because it might never work
and will cause me to lose a friend like you.

Friendship and love are always intertwined
Too close which sometimes causes confusion
If we try, we will never know what will happen
and we can never be friends like this again
at least for now I know you will remain my friend forever

I don't know if this is going to work
I'm not totally sure that we should not try
But I have all these mixed feelings
Bottled up inside

I don't deny having that special feeling for you
I do know how you feeling now though
we are just not ready for it
that is why I want to tell you "friends forever"
That also means I'm saying" Goodbye to I love you"

more than any other.
