The 30th Post! This is my 30th post on this world of blog. Well this post will also talk more on what I did today.
I woke up at 9am, did bathing and cleaning up, and was looking at newspaper at 9:30am. From there I saw a job, called up and by 10am I was out of the house heading to South Bridge Road for an interview. Today morning was relatively fast pace. I wasn’t sure where it was. So I had to search my way through. I found my way, well maybe I am not as street idiot as I think I was ba. =P
Did the interview, it was a guy call Alfred, initially I thought he was testing how confident I was, but in fact he was testing how outspoken I was. Which I pass the interview, and landed myself in a job. I am highly influence from TAT HONG going around looking for part time jobs.
After my interview it was like 12pm. I wanted to head down to Waterways Watch Society =P gave SHANG MING a call. Since I was at Clark Quay I took the train down to Potong Pasir and waited for him. From there we took a bus down to Waterways watch society =P I am like exploring Singapore, haha… We reach waterways watch society and we saw EUGENE and ANNIE learning how to in- line skates. (So take note NYAA participant, it is not as easy as we think haha) They were rather cute, but I must say I truly admire their determination and willingly to learn, we should learn from them. Uncle EUGENE who fell down a lot of time until his butt open flowers le, but still stand on his on skates and do not want others to lend him a hand (he is already 50 yrs old) Auntie ANNIE who already got the skill of skating and had problem braking, but seeing her skate and trying to brake had show me the willingness to learn.
After that, they stop and took lunch, it was NASI LEMAK. Together we ate lunch and waited for the STUDENTS from a SECONDARY SCHOOL. Meantime I was folding clothes, and SHANG MING teased me by saying I don’t know how to fold clothes. But I prove him wrong =P. Then I help to write some stuff on the white board. While ANNIE was doing the presentation =) after she finished I help to distribute the clip boards to the group leaders. Together with SHANG MING we brought them to the beach and let them collect the rubbish.
As it was low tide it stinks, no choice. We saw a DEAD turtle, a DEAD fish. A girl pick up 1 condom, another boy picked up another condom, and I pick 2 condoms. So you can imagine what people do there at night. They maybe try to add to the birth rate in Singapore. The kids are rather naughty and difficult to handle. In the group I had a girl crying so had to comfort her.
Why she cried? I promise SHANG MING I will tell him which I forgot =P typically in secondary school rumors is common. Well she happens to be the victim together with another guy. From her, it seems the rumor spread in the whole secondary 1. Poor girl! Seeing her like this reminds me of my SECONDARY days too when the rumor spread about ME and D***OND ha-ha… (Censored) It was worse then what she went through, hers was only among peers, mine had spread to seniors (until my brothers know about it too), juniors (his and mine) and teachers. You can imagine how horrible it is la. Well but it is the past. Now he is not in SP so I don’t really care la. =P After the students left I left too. Hehe need to go home le.
When I was on the bus, I saw one of my junior, look at her uniform makes me went “what the hell” the new principal had change the uniform slightly, but enough to affect the whole look of it. Instead of having collar badge it is banish to having the badge being stuck above the school name. It is totally degrading. The purpose of MS CHAMB wanting it to be a collar badge is because it feels more “high class” not that neighborhood school even though we were. I knew that the new principal had the problem of wearing the collar badge but changing it to this is not a very good solution. Moreover my school logo is circular it looks even UGLY. I might be in that school, but I CAME from that school. It seems he turn the school upside down by changing the entire syllabus for secondary 3. I am disappointed. I miss school; I will be going back thee soon to see all my beloved teachers.
Here I also want to congratulate MS WAN she is now married and has left the school. =)
